Irrespective of your educational background, here are certain options that any graduate degree holder can opt for.

1: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed): This will help you pursue a career as a teacher in a secondary or higher secondary school.

2: Digital Marketing: If you have flair for marketing and social media, a course in digital marketing could be a good option. There are several courses available in digital marketing.

3: Post Graduate Diploma in Travel & Tourism: This 1-2 year program would prepare you for a career in the Travel and Hospitality industry as Travel Agents, Reservation and counter staff, Sales and marketing staff, Tour Planners, Guest Relationship Managers, Itinerary Designers and more.

4: Post Graduate Diploma in Counseling: This program is designed for those interested in a career in as an Educational & Career Counselor, Learning Counselor, Therapist, Family/Marriage Counselor etc.

5: Business Analytics & Data Science: There are many part time and full time programs that prepare you for careers in this lucrative field. To pursue a career in analytics, you should have some background/ aptitude in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Operations Research.

6: Animation and Multimedia: All you need is a creative streak. Learning the technology is always easy. So if you are a creative person and would like to pursue a career in film editing, animation, creating special effects in films, then this is definitely a career for you.  

7: Social Sector/NGO/CSR: Contrary to popular belief, work in the social sector can pay you as good as any corporate job. To pursue a career in this sector a post graduate certificate/diploma or a master’s degree in Social Work is highly recommended, though not always required. An emerging sector in the India, this sector will definitely see tremendous growth in the coming years.
