ITIs are government run training colleges that offer vocational training programs. Contrary to popular belief, ITIs offer both technical (engineering based) and non Technical (non engineering related) training programs.

Any applicant who has completed his/her 10th class can enroll for these programs. Most ITIs provide recruitment services as well where they help their student find jobs after completion of these courses.
Students interested in vocational training programs should also consider program offered as part of the NDSC (National Skill Development Corporation) https://nsdcindia.org/ – an initiative started by the government of India as part of its Skill India program.
