ONLINE TUTORING

There are several websites where you can register and teach on any topic which you are really good at. All you require is a computer with good Audio, Video, and Internet. Earnings depend on how much time you can dedicate to tutoring. Some of the popular sites where you can register as a tutor are:

  • Udemy  –www.Udemy.com: Udemy  allows teachers to record video courses and sell them to interested students. If you’re an expert in a field, you can create a course and sell it online. You’ll earn money for every student who enrolls. Anyone can create a course on Udemy, even without any prior teaching experience. When you sign up to become an instructor, Udemy asks you about your experience, your comfort level with videos, and whether you have an established audience interested in your materials. Udemy then offers robust resources to help you get started based on your answers. How much you make depends on the price you set and the demand for your course. If you create a course and it gets popular, it can earn you money for a long time without any additional work.
  • Chegg India – https://experts.cheggindia.com/ :You can earn money on Chegg by becoming a subject expert on a subject. Once you are approved as a subject expert, you earn money for every question answered correctly. The rate per question varies based on the subject with computer science earning the most. Your earnings depend on how many questions you answer.
  • Vedantu – www.vedantu.com : You can become a tutor at Vedantu where you can select any subject, grades you would like to teach and your available timings. Once you clear the screening and post your training to become an Online teacher, your earning depends on which subject, which grade, and which board (CBSE/ICSE/State etc)  you are teaching and how many hours you can teach.
  • Teacheron  –www.teacheron.com : Once you create a profile as a teacher on Teacheron, you can contact students who post their requirements for teacher or students can contact you directly.  Contacting students would require a payment else it is free. Your earnings depend on your profile and how much you want to charge per hour and how many students contact you.
  • Preply – https://preply.com/ : They have over 100 subjects on Preply, including languages, school and university subjects, hobbies and art. Preply takes a 100% commission fee for your first lesson payment with every new student. For all subsequent lessons, the commission varies from 33 to 18% and depends on the number of lesson hours completed with students on Preply. The more tutoring you do through Preply, the less commission you pay.
  • Urban Pro – https://www.urbanpro.com/ : You can create a profile as a teacher on  Urbanpro and contact students who post their requirements for teacher or the students can contact you directly.  Contacting students would require a premium membership, else it is free. The earnings depend on your profile and how much you want to charge per hour and how many students contact you.
  • LearnPick – https://www.learnpick.in/ : Once you create a profile as a teacher on LearnPick, you can contact students who post their requirements for teachers or the students can contact you. You would require to pay to be able to contact students. The earnings depend on your profile and how much you want to charge per hour and how many students contact you.
  • WhiteHatJr – www.whitehatjr.com : White hat Junior is a site for teaching programming to kids. To become a tutor at WhiteHatJr, you will have to go through their 5-step recruitment process. The classes are live one on one sessions.  You decide the timing of your classes. More the classes, more your earnings. You will be using WhiteHatJr’s proprietary curriculum to teach coding so you don’t need prior experience in coaching.
