D.Voc – An option for students after 10th class.

Did you know that after 10th class, rather than opting for the traditional Arts, Science, or Commerce field, students can opt for a skill based D.Voc program? D.Voc stand for Diploma in Vocation and these courses are offered in skill areas such as :

  • Software Development
  • Graphics & Multimedia
  • Medical Imaging
  • Travel & Tourism
  • Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning
  • Electronics’
  • Apparel Manufacturing and Design
  • Food Technology
  • Optometry
  • Pharmacy
  • Interior Design

and a few other areas

These courses are designed to prepare students for the practical aspects of the domain, and are offered by many polytechnics and vocational training institutes across India.

Admission Criteria for these courses: 10th pass from any recognized board.

While most students who pursue the D.Voc intend to get a job after completing these courses, students also have the option to enroll for a B.Voc (Bachelors of Vocation) program after completion of their diploma.  Some colleges also offer the M.Voc (Masters of Vocation) which students can enroll in after their B.Voc.
